For this project we had to use a vocoded voice and incorporate it into our song. This is my favorite loop that I have made this year, I like more of the metal music. So this is a metal theme obviously, and I was thinking it would go good in a rock competition, because of the phrases I used. For the second vocoded piece, I couldn't find it in freesound.org, so mr. Rabuse took me into a room and showed me the snowball mike. This is were I recorded myself fo0r the last part of my project. Enjoy!!!

  1. Good, I like rock more than techno, so this was a nice change from the usual. I liked your vocal choices, and I can practically see you saying 'I told you so' at the end.

  2. Excellent use of the vocoder. You were the only student that used his own voice. Nice.
Your loop could be better by doing a few things:
    1. Add a bass line to the guitar part. Either double it, or play a simple quarter note line behind it. The way it is now, there's no bottom end to your mix.
    2. Add drums, or at least a kcik drum on al four beats. The reason I suggest this is that the guitar part is rather rhythmic, and the off-beat rhythms are showcased better when they are heard along with a steady beat.

  3. Haha good use of your own voice but it seems like its missing something. The vocoder part went very well, but is there a supporting instrument section? If there is I couldn't hear it too well and you should beef up the noise on it a bit.
