For this project we had to play with some automations! this was a fun assignment for me because I like special effects in music. So I chose a funky beat that would give people a feeling of up beatness and want to make them dance. I used the slayer wah wah sound for a bass line, a simsynth sound for a sort of drum loop. For my other instrument i used an fx instrument from the tool bar, and used the riff master tool which was a really fun tool. This is the first project i have had FL Studio 9, so this was a new feature from the program. You out a note or two in the paino roll, and then it makes a riff out of that, it's like the chop tool except more fun. So the things i automated were the volume, the simsynths cut envelope, and the mixers blood overdrive. I really like this loop I have created, so enjoy!!!!
