For this project I had to use the chop tool, and the transpose tool to get my rif. I wanted to give it sort of a hard rockish beat with a little twist of hip hop in the drum beat. When I first started I had a really good guitar rif to go with, but them it didnt get saved so I had to start over, and I think it came out pretty good. Now the chop tool was confusing to me because it randomly picked rifs, so when I lost my first project, i couldnt get it back. Transposing was easier though, and for the most part I think it was very affective. If anyone has anythin g to say, like a comment on how you liked it or a question, please leave a comment and i hope you enjoy my loop.

  2. I love the guitar riff, expecially the few odd notes added in their, It keeps it from becomeing repetative. The drums could have been a bit louder, they seem pretty distant. Overall, chop and transpose tools well used.

I Love the random person saying that in the beginning. Clever, very clever.
reminds me of some of the bands I listen to. Mostly Dr. Acula.
    Anyways...
really liked the guitar that you had, with the fact that you put in those higher pitched notes. Made it sound wicked.
Also liked the crash at the end. :)
Dan, you're actually VERY good at coming up with music, especially if you already had a pretty good guitar riff that got deleted. Means you can improvise pretty well.
    Good job, buddy.

  4. I agree with Aeternalis wholeheartedly. I would have liked to have heard some simple bass in addition to the riff for support, and to fill out the low end frequencies. Otherwise, well done.
