My drum loop

This is my drum loop, it was a hard process because i had never used this program for a project before, i have used sony acid beore, but this program is set up differently. I was hopin to make kind of a junky hip hop drum loop, and i think it worked. To find what i wanted i just looked under the hip hop section, which was the style i was looking for. I think my drum loop fills were suppose to have a sort of feel like it was an intro into the next section of the loop, and so i made them a different type of hip hop. Every new section of thye song has a different type of hip hop, doing this took a lot of work. If you have any comments or questions you want to leave please do, hope you enjoyed my loop.

  1. This is very good. I like the theme in general, and it sounds impressive they way you designed it. It could have been longer, however.

  2. Hey, nice work dan. I think it came out how you said you wanted it to be, with that very rap/hip hop sound. I really like the fill where it starts quiet and gets louder, and i also like the triple kick drum bit in the first loop. However, i do think it is a bit plain and might need a bit more ride symbol or high hat some where because i think that all the bass drum and other lower sounds make it a bit dull in places. Other than that, good job.

  3. Dude, that's a pretty wicked drump loop.
I generally don't tend to like hip-hop, but it was really good. Catchy, man. :)

  4. Hey nice loop, with good fills between melody lines, but I think it might have been a little too short. Try to make a longer loop next time with more melody lines.

  5. i like the first drum fill how it fades in then goes to the next part.although i dont like hip hop that much i think that the use of the clap and the snare was very creative.

  6. I like the use of the finger snaps. Both patterns contrast well, and you fill makes good musical sense.
