For this project we had to use the sytrus tool and the riff machine t come up with a loop. Sytrus lets you make uyor own sound instead of taking one from the samples. We had to use A A B A style. For my project, I used a sort of technoish sound, and came up with a riff that reminded me of sadness and another of revenge. I also used two sound files, the theme of my project was shooting, first there is a guy that says no shoot, no shoot, you will hear gun fire, then a girl screams no. Then the sadness music with a snare drum, a closed snare drum, and a closed cymbol. Next the girl screams no again and the revenge music. After that there is more gun fire and the sadness music again. It's sad i no, but it makes a great theme! hope everyone likes it.

  1. I really like it, 'Prentice Dannell.
haha The scream made me laugh, though. :)
It did sound sad, but more so that there was some good left...which then comes with revenge. xD
very good. I must be going now, though. Possibly, I shall elaborate at a later time. :P
    Love ya,

  2. The patterns are good, but your piece lacks that finished element to it. Bass and drums would be good for this piece. Also, the transition from the A section to the B section could be a lot more cohesive. You have empty space, and then the next pattern just starts. Give it some creative thought and consider other ways to make your transition flow.

  3. Beef up your background instruments and it should be overall a good, weird sort of piece. But in general I can see where you were going with the piece, good job.
